Supervise team of field installers, as well as, install doors & hardware using impact & cordless drills, skill saws, grinders, belt sanders, routers, jig saws, but not limited to other power tools.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to lift/carry 25-50 lbs. frequently
  • Experience using power tools, such as saws, drills, etc.
  • Industry experience with installation of building materials preferred
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Due to job site and Federal contractual requirements, COVID-19 vaccination strongly preferred
  • Must have strong math skills, communication skills, problem solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
  • Ability to determine what type of tool and equipment are needed for a job

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all install estimating and labor for multiple teams of installers
  • Tracks daily productivity
  • Ensures all safety rules/requirements are followed and encourages safe work habits
  • Reviews scope of labor for contracts
  • Coordinates temporary labor to supplement work force in accordance with corporate requirements
  • Coordinates and establishes relationships with trusted subcontractors
  • Provides leadership to entire install team from hire, training, safety and discipline
  • Motivates and inspires the installation teams
  • Provides direction to Installation Field Supervisor
  • Coordinates all jobs that will be pre-installed
  • Tracks and maintains weekly/monthly installation scheduling and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Branch Manager
