About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain, manage, and improve the Production department and its personnel and processes within an assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in reading & writing using the English language.
  • Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Must have competency with computers & other electronic office/business equipment.
  • Must have a sense of urgency; and react quickly and decisively to the needs of the business.
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have valid driver’s license. Must have Lead Renovator Certification or acquire one at the next lead certification class.

Responsibilities

  • Recruits, hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and when necessary, terminates Installation Technicians, Warehouse and Detail/Service Technicians, and Helpers.
  • Places employment ads and conducts telephone screening, personal interviews, and post-offer/pre-employment screening (HPE, physical, drug test).
  • Conducts in house training of new employees the first week of their employment.
  • Schedules detail measures and installations, assigns work to installation personnel on a daily basis, and communicates scheduling needs and changes with the Corporate Scheduling Department.
  • Reviews and signs off on the previous day’s installations, measure runs and completed services prior to the submission of the morning report to Corporate.
  • Reviews and signs off on new job folders which must be forwarded to the Corporate Production Department the following business day.
  • Monitors and maintains branch service ratings as established by the company.
  • Conducts inspections of completed installations to ensure jobs are being installed according to company standards and completes job inspection forms for each.
  • Evaluates all installation and customer service issues, makes appropriate recommendations for resolution, ensures issues are resolved in a timely manner, and immediately communicates each with Regional Manager.
  • Conducts one-on-one sessions with employees, records direct reports addressing issues in performance and conduct.
  • Holds weekly installer/staff meetings.
  • Maintains a vehicle score of less than 3.0 errors per hundred miles.
  • Maintains 13% or less overall service rating.
  • Follows credit return procedure.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy of 98% or above.
  • Maintains NPS card return of 80% or above.
  • Maintains completed pictures of all installation.
  • Ensures Ultipro entries are accurate and makes corrections weekly as needed.
  • Turns in Daily logs by 9 a.m.
  • Notifies Regional manager by 3 p.m. of any problems and/or issues.
  • Ensures projects are followed to company standards throughout entire process.
  • Ensures compliance with all Safety Policies and Procedures and investigates all motor vehicle accidents and on the job related injuries to determine cause, preventability and methods to prevent recurrence.
  • Completes all Sales technical training whenever needed.
  • Monitors warehouse activities to ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, including the general maintenance of the warehouse and proper levels of stock materials.
  • Responsible for all installation/service functions of the assigned territory.
  • Ensures all company vehicles are serviced regularly, maintained in good working condition, and kept neat, clean and secure at all times and enters weekly vehicle updates.
  • Conducts weekly meeting on safety related topics.
  • Communicates, exercises, and enforces compliance to company policies and procedures including safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned to meet business needs.
