About The Position

Installation Technician: Powering Precision Machinery in the Field Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys travel, working with advanced machinery, and delivering excellent customer experiences? Join Park Industries as an Installation/Field Service Technician 1, where you'll install and service state-of-the-art stoneworking equipment across the United States (and occasionally beyond). In this customer-facing role, you'll represent Park's ParkWAY values while ensuring every machine performs to specification and every customer feels confident in its operation. What You'll Do As an Installation/Field Service Technician 1, you'll play a key role in bringing our machines to life and supporting customers in their day-to-day success.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP systems (such as JDE) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/Inventor or comparable 3D modeling software
  • Ability to effectively use basic hand and power tools, including measuring devices
  • This position is expected to travel at least 90% of the time. You can be located throughout the United States but must be within 60 miles of an approved major airport. In addition, you must be able to rent a car and travel by commercial flights.

Nice To Haves

  • Robotics, Mechanization, Electronics, Hydraulics, or CNC Machine Tool diploma (preferred)
  • Experience with CNC or stone equipment maintenance (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Machine Installation: Install Park Industries equipment to precise specifications at customer sites and secure customer sign-off upon completion.
  • Service Support: Perform service work on equipment not meeting specifications, ensuring reliable operation before leaving the customer site.
  • Customer Training: Demonstrate machine features, train customer personnel on safe and efficient operation, and provide coaching as needed.
  • Customer Interaction: Represent Park with professionalism, building customer confidence through friendly, supportive, and expert communication.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete time entry, expense reports, job reports, and daily documentation to maintain service records.
  • Team Collaboration: Support other departments, contribute to special projects, and perform machine testing when assigned.
