About The Position

The Installation Coordinator is responsible for providing support/oversight of scheduling, coordination and communication related to flooring installation projects in customer’s home through contracted vendors. The role involves reviewing project details, scheduling installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They work closely with customers and installers to ensure projects are completed on time and to Express standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years prior experience providing direct customer support/customer service
  • Strong Communication Skills:Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders
  • Customer Service Skills:Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
  • Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the installation process
  • Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records
  • Basic Computer Skills:Proficiency with software programs like Microsoft Office
  • Operate a motor vehicle
  • Stand – Walk – Lift – Climb – Talk - Hear
  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel - Reach with hands or arms
  • The Weight or Force requirement in this position is: Up to 60 pounds
  • This position requires to have close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
  • Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Computer Skills:Proficiency with software programs like Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Relevant Software:Familiarity with software used for scheduling, inventory management, and project tracking preferred
  • Forklift certification (prior or current)

Responsibilities

  • Schedule installations, customer appointments and coordination with contractors
  • Assist in the scheduling, dispatching, progress management, and completion of all projects in a timely & professional manner.
  • Maintaining inventory levels, staging materials for crew loadouts, and assisting with loading/unloading trucks
  • Communicating with installers, customers, and contractors to ensure projects are on track and that any issues are resolved
  • Document and maintain accurate, clear, and up-to-date systems and accounts for all active projects.
  • Manage contractor-to-customer relations ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Drive installed revenue to meet forecasted sales and budget goals.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service
  • Daily, weekly, & monthly KPI reporting.
  • Provide interdepartmental support as needed.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned
