About The Position

The position involves verifying that jobsites are ready for window installation and checking the quality of installations to ensure they meet company standards. The employee will be responsible for ensuring that jobsite conditions are appropriate, verifying window openings, and reading blueprints for window locations and sizes. The role also includes keeping customers informed about work progress, coordinating deliveries to the job site, and handling customer service issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Degree (GED).
• One (1) year of assembly or clerical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and random drug screening once employed.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
• Glass experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify jobsite is ready for window installation.
• Check jobsite conditions and verify window openings are correct and true per plans.
• Read blueprints for window locations and sizes.
• Use a tape measure and torpedo level.
• Utilize a laptop/tablet for email and blueprints.
• Keep customers informed of work progress.
• Help coordinate deliveries to job site.
• Handle customer service issues and provide feedback to outside sales staff.
• Verify windows are installed properly according to builder's installation instructions.
