About The Position

The Install Manager (IM) is responsible for overseeing roofing installations from pre-construction planning through final closeout. The IM ensures that projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between Operations, Subcontractors, Field Crews, and Clients, driving accountability and successful delivery of every project.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of roofing or construction management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal, tile, and low-slope membranes.
  • Proficiency with project management software (AccuLynx preferred).
  • Strong leadership and crew management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Strong organizational and scheduling ability.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to lead teams and hold subcontractors accountable.
  • Professional communication with both field and office teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review handoff packages to confirm scope, drawings, and estimates are accurate and complete.
  • Develop project schedules in alignment with company protocols and resource availability.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Confirm subcontractor assignments, availability, and readiness prior to mobilization.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of roofing installation on assigned projects.
  • Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Resolve on-site challenges quickly and effectively to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Enforce company SOPs for site safety, QA/QC, and documentation.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all stakeholders during installation.
  • Provide clients with timely updates on progress, schedule, and project milestones.
  • Document project progress in AccuLynx, including notes, photos, and updated schedules.
  • Report daily progress and issues to the Director of Operations.
  • Track labor, equipment, and materials against budgeted estimates.
  • Identify and submit change orders in alignment with company SOPs.
  • Ensure punch list items are completed quickly and accurately.
  • Finalize closeout documentation, warranty registration, and customer sign-offs.
