About The Position

The Commercial Installation Manager will oversee the Commercial Construction Division, ensuring alignment between sales, installation, and field teams. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and the ability to maintain excellent relationships with contractors and vendors while enforcing quality, safety, and company standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial installation or construction management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasts
  • Excellent communication skills with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence
  • Requires a valid driver’s license.
  • Requires a high school diploma and/or equivalent.
  • A working knowledge of basic carpentry, gas piping, electricity and air flow are required.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of local codes and general industry standards.
  • Strong supervisory, communications, computer and mathematical skills are required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years previous HVAC experience as Install Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Know the numbers and act on Revenue Goals, COGS Budgets Estimate to Actual, Forecasts for Comm Division, Staffing to Budget
  • Assist Sales Team with Estimate Detail - Scope Summaries and Pre-Construction Meetings
  • Maintain alignment between Sales and Installation Teams - ensure that scope is followed and change orders are executed when outside of scope
  • Build and Maintain Contractor and Vendor relationships
  • Participate in weekly L10 with Construction Team
  • Develop and execute Quarterly Objectives with Construction Division Leaders
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 with Site Leads
  • Enforce Quality Standard
  • Enforce Proper Tooling
  • Maintain Safety
  • Conduct Reviews for Comm Division Personnel
  • Provide direction for Recruiting
  • Conduct pre-hire interviews as needed
  • Make hiring recommendations - direct and facilitate onboarding of new personnel
  • Oversee disciplinary action and termination within Comm Division
  • Demonstrate a Team first attitude - learn about the interests, lives and help develop Team members
  • Engage in daily communication and encourage Teamwork and communication between field Team and warehouse personnel
  • Lead through example: Build good work habits, be hard working and clearly communicate expected results
  • Set and share personal goals. Consistently work towards progress
