About The Position

The Install Account Executive for Public Safety is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling to existing customers in the public safety market. This role is the primary sales point of contact, working in close collaboration with the Customer Success Manager (CSM) to ensure seamless information sharing, account management, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication and coordination skills to align sales efforts with customer success strategies, ensuring a unified approach to customer needs, operational challenges, and growth opportunities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven ability to drive upsell and cross-sell strategies with existing customers.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across teams, especially with customer success functions.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth understanding of public safety including permitting, enforcement, and case management systems.
  • Familiarity with government procurement cycles, cooperative purchasing agreements, and RFP processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the sales point of contact for assigned accounts, focusing on upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand solution adoption.
  • Partner closely with the Customer Success Manager (CSM) to share updates, align on account priorities, and execute coordinated strategies to drive customer success and revenue growth.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales opportunities and delivering on revenue goals.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to understand their evolving needs, ensuring solutions align with their operational objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers across the public safety sector, ensuring alignment with their goals and priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, communicating the value of the company's solutions and how they address critical challenges such as modernization, operational efficiency, and compliance.
  • Proactively identify whitespace opportunities within the existing customer base to drive additional value.
  • Work collaboratively with the CSM to ensure smooth handoffs, share insights, and maintain a unified customer engagement strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, and Implementation to deliver tailored solutions and support ongoing customer initiatives.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track sales activities, share updates with the CSM, and maintain transparency on account progress.
  • Provide detailed reporting on pipeline health, deal progression, and anticipated risks to both sales leadership and the CSM team.
