About The Position
Assist Head Start teacher in daily classroom activities. Work one-on-one and in small groups with preschool students. Provide remediation support for students. Support the overall student growth in social, emotional, and kindergarten rediness skills. Assist with serving breakfast, lunch, and snack daily. Monitor students on the bus as needed. Attend Head Start mandatory training, follow Head Start performance standards and all requirements for state early childhood and Head Start licensing. Applicant should be able to work well with school staff and students of all ages. Complete other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Mandatory FBI fingerprinting background check and other HS requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; AND Have or be willing to obtain a Childhood Development Associate certificate (CDA), or higher degree in Early Childhood or related field.
