About The Position

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Inspector for our Westchester field office. Be involved in projects with our Construction Inspection Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior construction inspection experience.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Team oriented
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Nice To Haves

• College degree
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
• NICET II or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection service for various construction operations.
• Perform field tests of construction materials.
• Preparation of daily reports.
• Assist field staff with calculations and preparation of contract payments.
• Assist field staff with checking contractor payrolls and other submissions.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
