Essential Job Functions: Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations. •Complete 100% inspection of lots as needed Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services. Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications. Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to read blue prints and specifications on a daily basis
  • Be able to give accurate information on hardware inspected
  • Capable of maintaining the flow of product for production in a timely manner
  • Must be able to pass a near vision and color eye exam.
  • Hand Tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, Gage Pins, Thread Gages)
  • CMM Reports interpretation
  • Comparator
  • Previous experience of aerospace inspection, performing receiving inspections and final inspection
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role.
  • Computer skills (Windows, Excel)
  • Good math and technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques as dimensional and visual inspections.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in quality control is preferred.
