Requirements

  • High school diploma OR HSE
  • Previous experience utilizing hand measurement gages such as mics, verniers, bore gages, calipers, height gages, and indicators.
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with simple machine and tool operations
  • Understand how to identify and effectively use a variety of power and hand tools.
  • Read, understand and utilize procedures, detailed computerized build plans, and basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to perform precise and detailed work.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with others within the team.
  • Follow and promote safe work practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in a team environment.
  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • CMM experience
  • Use hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure specifications are met
  • Document applicable calibration inspection results.
  • Perform specific inspections and calibrations according to written instructions.
  • Designate appropriate inspection methods and techniques.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and systems problems.
  • Perform functional, mechanical and visual inspection.
  • Verify the calibration status of all measuring and test equipment used in the work area including reference material.
  • Understand the relevance and importance of inspection activities and how they contribute to the delivery of defect free products.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment, interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications.
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results with respect to applicable codes, specifications and standards.
  • Establish and perform preventative maintenance procedures for inspection equipment.
  • Perform periodic work reviews and audits to ensure compliance to the system requirements.
  • Interpret blueprint drawings and ensure specifications are being met.
  • Develop consistent/logical feature labels and structured reports for data retrieval and ease of interpretation of inspection results.
