About The Position
Responsible for performing a variety of tasks including inspection and material handling. Prior to shipment to L3Harris customers, inspections/audits are performed on L3Harris manufactured product and OEM purchased parts to insure compliance to Sale Order requirements. Inspector will be required to verify quantity and accuracy of Sales Order Line Item components against the Bill of Material structures. Inspection results are documented electronically, so computer proficiency is necessary. Material handling involves unpacking and re-packaging inspected material; this will include working with shipping containers, pallet jacks and box tape machines. Personnel are required to routinely lift 25 lbs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) experience desired
- Knowledge and usage of AGILE preferred
- Numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and email platforms
