  • The Lead Inspector is responsible for recording all functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the specific requirements.
  • Responsible for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of Aircraft Components.
  • Have the skills and knowledge to set-up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results.
  • Be familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method.
  • Possess basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
  • The ability to lead others effectively with integrity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical Aptitude – Demonstrated examples (on the job or outside of work) showing competency to work with hands.
  • Manual Dexterity – Ability to perform a job that requires detailed handwork.
  • Experience with Process Standards – Demonstrated ability to read, understand and execute to written instruction.
  • Inspection Techniques - Proficient in visual, dimensional, and documentation-based inspections. Experience using inspection tools. Ability to interpret tolerances and specifications.
  • Technical Communication - Ability to clearly communicate technical findings in verbal and written form.
  • Attention to Detail - Maintains high levels of accuracy and thoroughness in inspections and documentation. Detects inconsistencies or anomalies with precision and care.
  • Accountability and Responsibility - Takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, and holds oneself accountable for results. Ensures compliance with procedures, regulations, and safety standards.
