About The Position

Lead in shifting inspection assignments to ensure production needs are met Ensure new inspectors are trained/certified in assigned areas Demonstrate organizational skills and engage with the team to ensure success Ensure Leadership is informed /notified regarding discrepancies that could impact production. Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Troy. Discover more about our Troy, Alabama location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and support business needs.
  • Ability to quickly learn multi-inspection / verification methods and requirements.
  • Demonstrate ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Work in heat/cold and wet/dry conditions.
  • Interim Secret required to start with ability to obtain secret security clearance.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Successful completion of AIDT training required prior to start.
  • 1 year requirement as an assembler
  • Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations.

  • JASSM & LRASM SAR Clearance
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must have good work habits, including being in the work area and on the job during all scheduled work periods.
