Requirements

  • Ability to use and interpret aerospace drawings and specifications including strong GD&T skills and experience a plus.
  • Ability to read and the interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
  • Experience with the following software: CATIA/ENOVIA, MS OFFICE a plus.
  • Experience with AS9102 FAI requirements and forms.
  • Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence and communicate effectively with customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and schedule requirements.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • The ability to sit or stand for at least 8 hours a day.
  • The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Familiar with Mitutoya / CMM processes to measure parts per customer, company, and schedule requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, engineering, and quality personnel as needed on technical issues.
  • Audits internal systems to determine the effectiveness of corrective action measures.
  • Implements calibration activities to obtain minimum variances.
  • Meets established standards for productivity and quality. Confers with supervisor when problems arise, which impact the expected level of performance.
  • Responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems and customer-specific requirements
  • Must contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.
