About The Position

The Inspector, QC Unlicensed position involves performing inspections of aircraft engine parts and components to ensure product quality in compliance with AAR's Quality Management System and regulatory requirements. The role requires collaboration with team members and supervisors to develop and execute quality metrics, ensuring that all inspections meet customer and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience or training required.
• Basic understanding of product certification and airworthiness requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with FAA and DoD regulations.
• Familiarity with technical/regulatory data and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing material to meet AAR's Quality Management System (QMS) and Customer Requirements.
• Follow FAA and DoD Regulatory guidance to establish sufficient traceability of products being inspected.
• Inspect products through document review, visual inspection, packaging, and shelf life assessments.
• Review technical/regulatory data including Airworthiness Directives and Maintenance Manuals.
• Use calibrated measurement/test equipment such as digital micrometers and calipers for inspections.
• Ensure all work is performed according to Purchase Order and Repair Order instructions.
• Assist within AAR's Commercial and Defense Distribution Business Units as needed.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
