About The Position

The position involves performing essential job functions satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. The role requires standing at the delivery end of the machine to receive counted units of product, conducting periodic inspections of the finished product, and notifying the machine operator of any non-conformance issues. The employee will continuously lift 14 lbs of finished product and assist in assembling and labeling corrugated shipping cases. Maintaining a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
• Ability to read and write English at a 10th grade level.
• Ability to stand in one area for periods of up to 60 minutes.
• Ability to lift 14 lbs continuously and up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Must adhere to company policies, safety rules and regulations, wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Stand at the delivery end of the machine and receive counted units of product.
• Perform established set of periodic inspections of the finished product for adherence to standards.
• Notify the machine operator of any definite or potential non-conformance issues.
• Continuously lift 14 lbs of finished product and place in a corrugated shipping case.
• Assist the operator assistant assemble and label corrugated shipping cases.
• Assist the machine operator in maintaining a clean and safe work area and comply with all company safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
