This production worker will take pride in their safety mindset, attention to quality and perfect attendance. This is a high paying job with built-in OT, at a leading global US based company that is dedicated to a creating a safe work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
- High school diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to calculate parts requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to stand/walk for 12 consecutive hours.
- Ability to read, write and record in quality and production records.
- Ability to use hands to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes and product to inspect and pack
- Ability to work with and around heavy machinery and equipment
- Minimal lifting capabilities of 35 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and package plastic products of good quality.
- Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
- Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet.
- Properly complete all required paperwork.
- Read through process manuals and record measurements
- Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs.
- Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
- Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement.
- Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.
- Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
