Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, as an Inspector/Packer, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Requirements

• Can stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, push, pull, read, write and communicate effectively with others.
• Can carry and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good manual dexterity and agility.
• 6 months previous production line experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Removes completed thermoformed sheets from the thermoforming machines.
• Visually inspects each thermoformed sheet.
• Removes and sets aside all non-conforming products as per inspection control plan and/or visual samples per operator/Q.A. instructions.
• Reports all non-conforming parts to the operator.
• Assembles cardboard cartons.
• Removes individual parts from thermoformed sheets and stack them per job specifications.
• Loads individual parts per job specifications into cartons and seals each carton.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Performs other work duties or functions as assigned.
