About The Position

As an Inspector - Level 3 (FAA) here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes. Your expertise will help maintain our high standards and contribute to the overall success of our operations. You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an onsite work schedule. In this role, you will impact the quality assurance processes by conducting inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring that products meet the required specifications, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in quality inspection or assurance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, gauges, and microscopes, to assess product quality.
  • Experience with quality management systems and documentation practices.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
  • All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone).
  • The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of products and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Document inspection results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
