See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: The Quality Inspector is a key member of the Quality team and will be involved in quality investigations, process improvement, and driving change throughout the Fort Wayne value stream. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting a certain area or cells throughout the production line. The inspector is responsible to inspect to the quality standards of the area they are working in And to enter the data into QC2 and shop floor. The inspector needs to be able to communicate well with all levels. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Follow and commit to meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety and quality requirements. Provide timely inspection in assigned areas with feedback to area leaders. Ensure all inspection are logged into QC2 and they are complete. Ensure that Quality standards are being followed in area. Ensure that all variable data for the area is collected and entered in QC2 or Shopfloor. Preform Quality audits throughout the plant. Become ABYC certified Become greenbelt certified Other duties as assigned. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Requirements

  • 2 years of past Quality experience
  • Direct experience and knowledge of how to solve problems at their root, specifically as is related to quality
  • Knowledge of various plant processes to identify the causes of problems with product quality as well as potential concerns during product launches
  • High School or equivalent
  • The ability to read Assembly prints and work instructions.
  • Attention to detail and processes.
