As an Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before reaching our customers. You will be responsible for performing detailed inspections of parts and assemblies using a variety of tools and techniques, interpreting engineering drawings, and working closely with production and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Aerospace standards, able to interpret blueprint requirements, and GD&T principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at troubleshooting quality issues.
  • 3 years inspection experience
  • Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection within aerospace manufacturing industry
  • CMM Inspection experience
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Able to use Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and other automated measuring devices.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect product using inspection tools and equipment such as vernier calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, micrometers, cylindrical plugs and thread gauges, indicators, inspection fixtures and visual inspection on production parts, sub-assemblies, details or components prior to product shipment.
  • Perform complex geometric layout inspection using standard variable gaging and relative mathematics.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, measurement data, and non-conformance reports. Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) packages.
  • Examine material or product for surface defects such as scratches, pits, and other surface irregularities.
  • Verify dimensional compliance of all products with drawing and customer requirements.
  • Perform in-process inspection of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical and process related requirements.
