The position serves as an Inspector General (IG), Chief of Assistance and Investigations, responsible for responding to requests for IG assistance, conducting investigations, and planning and executing site visits. The role involves evaluating and assessing the overall operations of the organization by reviewing assistance and investigation activities in areas such as resource utilization, military leadership, training, compliance with regulations and directives, and business practices. The incumbent prepares reports of findings and develops briefings or executive summaries for presentation to senior leaders in HQ ARCYBER. Additionally, the position serves as a liaison between various IGs and commands, discussing issues relevant to IG functional responsibilities, and analyzes and reports on ARCYBER's state of economy, efficiency, systemic weaknesses, discipline, and morale for the Commanding General. The role also includes conducting investigations into complaints and allegations of fraud, improper conduct, and other situations where individuals assert they have been wronged by a DoD system.
