About The Position

Inspector General SME KBR is seeking an Inspector General Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide Headquarters STARCOM with on-site support at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. Key Responsibilities: Support the STARCOM Inspector General. Research, develop, and validate STARCOM inspection plans and requirements. Provide Gatekeeper support to synchronize inspection activities with the Department of the Air Force Inspection Agency, United States Space Force (USSF) Inspector General, USSF Field Commands, and STARCOM Deltas. Support implementation of STARCOM IG programs such as Complaints, Investigations, and External Evaluations/Assessments. Author STARCOM IG guidance, instructions, operating procedures, manuals, or similar products. Provide IG Team Support including managing workflow calendars, records management, administrator activities on IGEMS, MICT, and other similar systems. Support strategic planning and communications (i.e., SharePoint and Webpage updates). Maintain confidentiality while reviewing IG-related products. Align recommendations with established and emerging Department of the Air Force (DAF), USSF, and STARCOM guidance and instructions. Use Government-provided systems that support IG functions such as Inspector General’s Inspection Reporting System (IGEMS), Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT), task management tools, and other similar fielded systems. Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.

Requirements

• An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
• 3 years of experience directly relating to the job responsibilities at the Headquarters level.
• Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Accustomed to professionally working with military senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.

Nice To Haves

• BA/BS degree.
• Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, Field Command or equivalent.
• Familiarity with US Space Force mission.
