Requirements

  • Enrolled through Summer 2026 and into Fall 2026 in an undergraduate or graduate program such as: Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics
  • Engineering (civil or related disciplines)
  • Law, Criminal Justice, or Public Administration
  • Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (data organization and basic analysis), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and interest in oversight, accountability, and public service
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a professional, multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviews and assessments related to fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance risks
  • Help gather, analyze, and summarize financial, procurement, and project data for oversight activities
  • Support preparation of review workpapers, summaries, and draft observations or recommendations
  • Participate in interviews and meetings with project and functional staff and document key points
  • Assist in reviewing contracts, invoices, policies, and procedures for consistency with applicable rules and standards
  • Help maintain organized case files, tracking logs, and follow-up on corrective actions
