Requirements
- Enrolled through Summer 2026 and into Fall 2026 in an undergraduate or graduate program such as: Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics
- Engineering (civil or related disciplines)
- Law, Criminal Justice, or Public Administration
- Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (data organization and basic analysis), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and interest in oversight, accountability, and public service
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a professional, multidisciplinary environment
Responsibilities
- Assist with reviews and assessments related to fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance risks
- Help gather, analyze, and summarize financial, procurement, and project data for oversight activities
- Support preparation of review workpapers, summaries, and draft observations or recommendations
- Participate in interviews and meetings with project and functional staff and document key points
- Assist in reviewing contracts, invoices, policies, and procedures for consistency with applicable rules and standards
- Help maintain organized case files, tracking logs, and follow-up on corrective actions
