About The Position

Role Overview As a Senior Technician , you will play a key hands-on role in the fabrication, assembly, and testing of highly complex missile subsystems. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and skilled technicians to ensure every component meets exacting specifications before integration into mission-ready systems. This is a unique opportunity to apply mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing expertise on cutting-edge aerospace hardware.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of SAP software / database or other ERP software/database systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications / standards
  • Basic Computer/ Microsoft Office skills experience
  • Effective written and communication skills
  • Can work independently/self-motivated
  • Experience working successfully in a team environment
  • Able to work Monday-Thursday 4X10 second shift schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Highly Proficient in SAP or other ERP software/database
  • VECAMS / AF experience
  • Proficient using calibrated inspection equipment to validate dimensions or features
  • Experience working in various assembly areas and/or previous Inspection/QA experience
  • Experience working in a Aerospace/Defense or related Manufacturing environment
  • Missile Assembly and Integration experience
  • Program start up/development experience
  • ASQ certified Inspector
  • GD&T experience

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and test complex assemblies and subsystems for missile hardware.
  • Inspect and inventory components, ensuring compliance with work instructions and engineering documentation.
  • Verify dimensions, tolerances, and clearances using precision measurement tools.
  • Align, fit, and assemble parts using tools, fixtures, and approved processes.
  • Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate system performance under simulated conditions; record and review results.
  • Support full lifecycle operations including subsystem testing, environmental testing, pack-and-ship activities, and final assembly.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Participate actively in a team environment that emphasizes Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Provide and receive work direction among team members to ensure safe, efficient workflow.
