About The Position

Segula Technologies is seeking a skilled aerospace airframe assembly inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will utilize and interpret drawings, inspection manuals, and specifications, as well as employ shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments. This role requires a strong understanding of Quality Management System Policies and Procedures, along with a comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, and specifications. The inspector will be responsible for maintaining certifications, following inspection procedures to accept or reject processes, verifying tool qualifications, and preparing and maintaining quality records. The position may also involve working across equivalent or lower-level inspector job codes as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection
  • Candidates must be U.S. citizens due to ITAR regulations
  • Prompt and on time daily
  • Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment
  • Must be available to work any shift - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift operations
  • Available for periods of heavy overtime
  • Blueprint reading experience
  • MS Office and SAP experience
  • Experience writing NCRs (Tags)

Responsibilities

  • Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics, precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments
  • Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
  • Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications
  • Overall working knowledge of production processes
  • Good communication skills written and verbal
  • Good computing skills
  • Maintain certifications as required
  • Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
  • Verify that tools are qualified
  • Prepare and maintain Quality records
  • Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required
