Inspector 1 (2nd shift, 04:00pm-12:30am)
About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Inspector to join our production team in Rock Hill, SC. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction by understanding product requirements and translating them into clear specifications for production. You will make informed decisions throughout the processing cycle, from initial setup to final inspection. Responsibilities include inspecting finished products for quality, repackaging items, and ensuring accurate shipment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient ordering supplies via the Internet
- Experience with MS Word and Internet Explorer
- Strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detailed-oriented
- Able to lift 30lbs
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and co-workers in a ‘customer-friendly’ manner
- Receive and inspect customer product for processing
- Establish product process sequence
- Inspect finished product
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Learn new skills and Cross-train into various department
- Act as member of the monthly ‘Quality Council’
- Being Cross-trained in other areas of production
