About The Position

This Quality Supervisor (QS) position supporting the Stratford Final Assembly (CAFO) located in Stratford, CT. The QS is responsible for all aspects of quality supervision of inspection hourly associates for the H-60/CH-53K Helicopter Programs. The position will report to the CAFO Quality Manager in the RMS Sikorsky line of business. The candidate will provide leadership to hourly personnel as appropriate supporting the Sikorsky Quality organization. The QS will provide leadership through identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives in these areas that support the Quality Organization’s key performance measurements, vision and strategy. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Managing collaboration efforts with DCMA for contract statement of work compliance to the quality management system, non-conforming material, and corrective actions Managing the grievance escalation process as appropriate. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Local 1150; Manage the training scheduling of the hourly associates. Managing metrics detailing hourly work force labor hour activities. Supporting the execution and achievement of all applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS and RMS Sikorsky business objectives.

Requirements

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO‑9001, and MIL‑STD‑1913/1917 quality system requirements.
  • Demonstrated use of data‑driven decision‑making to develop and monitor workforce labor‑hour metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience developing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers.
  • Ability to develop, schedule, and deliver training for hourly associates.
  • Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and procedures related to aircraft production (e.g. Non-conforming material management, etc.).
