Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Centerline is currently seeking applicants for an Inspection Operator. We are looking for an inspector with a keen eye for detail to monitor the quality of the products that we provide our customers. This person will be responsible for checking substrates for defects and imperfections at various points in the production process. In addition to inspection, they will be cross-trained to operate some of our precision finishing machines. To excel in this position, a candidate should have great focus, be attentive to detail and have the desire to constantly learn and improve individually as well as with a team. Vishay Centerline is located in Hudson, Massachusetts. There are around 20 employees in this machine shop operation and it is a first shift operation. This role is an on-site position. 8 hour shift 1pm-9:30pm Split shift

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred
Excellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity required
Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts
Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail
Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”

Responsibilities

Inspecting materials to print before, during, and after the production process
Cleaning and packing parts
Populating the Yield Analysis Board
Documenting findings
Using high & low powered microscopes, micrometers and calipers
Maintain a clean work area and equipment in an orderly condition
Communicating with the machine operators and management regularly
