About The Position

Assist in visually inspecting, labeling and packaging pharmaceutical products. The role involves performing visual inspections, labeling, assembling and packaging of liquids, suspensions, and lyophilized pharmaceutical and dermatological products in vials, ampoules etc. The position requires compliance with all policies and procedures related to personal safety and job area safety, maintaining manufacturing records, and completing all required paperwork/documents to comply with Federal Regulations and FDA. The employee will report any variance or deviations from standard procedures to department management and stock materials utilized by the department. The role also includes operating semi-automatic inspection machines, vial label applicators, and box imprinting machines, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to visually inspect small print/printed labels.
• Ability to visually inspect liquid and lyophilized pharmaceutical products for small particles.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions/procedures in English.
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting.

Nice To Haves

• Biotechnology certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean up labeling and packaging assembly equipment and facility as needed.
• Comply with all policies and procedures related to personal safety and job area safety.
• Maintain manufacturing records and complete all required paperwork/documents to comply with Federal Regulations and FDA.

• Stock materials utilized by the department.
• Operate semi-automatic inspection machine, vial label applicator and box imprinting machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
