About The Position

Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated Signage Crew member. This role is vital to the installation of signage at Insomniac events. The company produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world, enhanced by state-of-the-art lighting, pyrotechnics, and sound design. The quality of the Headliner experience is the top priority, with Insomniac producing 10,000 concerts, club nights, and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe.

Requirements

• 1 year of festival, concert, or venue experience.
• Able to stand, walk, crouch, climb ladder throughout entire duration of shift.
• Must be able to open PDF files on phone, laptop, or tablet.
• Must be organized and accountable for all equipment and power tools.
• Valid and current driver license.
• Valid and current U.S. passport.
• Valid and current credit card for hotel incidentals.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, etc.
• Ability to use hand tools, saws, etc.
• Knowledge in basic lighting.
• Must possess working mobile device, preferably smartphone.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is not required, but highly encouraged.
• OSHA Certification is not required, but highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Performs the load-in and out of department installation of signage and scrim assets.
• Follow direction from leads and management to execute all signage and scrim installation.
• Must be able to follow specific installation instructions.
• Able to read site map and diagrams.
• Ensure mesh and signage graphic is installed properly on both the signage and scrim team to the Event Producers' expectations.
• Communicate with the team leads on a daily basis regarding workflow, timelines, and all production updates.
