About The Position

The Hydro Blaster/In-Site Technician at HPC-Industrial is responsible for the setup and operation of water treatment systems and pipeline hydrostatic testing at various customer locations. This role emphasizes safety and customer relations, ensuring that all tasks are performed in compliance with company standards and client expectations. The position is ideal for transitioning military personnel looking to leverage their skills in a civilian role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid TWIC required or ability to obtain TWIC.
• Valid driver license.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, such as fire extinguishers.
• OSHA certification may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in industrial cleaning or environmental services.
• Proficiency in English to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assist with water treatment systems and pipeline hydrostatic testing.
• Operate manual and automated hydro blasting equipment.
• Use special equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Energize pumping equipment and operate specialized hydro blasting and chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
• Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure compliance with company and customer expectations.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment.
• Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials appropriately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
