Instacart’s Customer Insights Team sits within the Commercial Excellence org, at the intersection of Instacart’s unparalleled industry data, our most important grocery and non-grocery retail partnerships, and vast CPG category data. This Insights Manager will sit within the Retail Insights team and partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth at a set of key grocery retail partners. This is a generalist role focused on leveraging internal and external 3rd-party data to influence internal business decision making, conduct market intelligence, and unlock growth across a set of Instacart’s most strategic partnerships and categories. You will strive to understand the dynamics of the marketplace through descriptive analysis, tackle ambiguous problems, and provide internal teams with the tools to answer “how did the business perform?”, “why did it perform that way?”, and "how can we improve performance?" You will be a subject matter expert on macro business, operational, and customer trends. This role is a hybrid of external client-facing and internal-facing responsibilities.
