Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking an Inside Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team In Forest Park. NOTE: this role does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair. We Offer: Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays 401(k) w/company match Medical/Dental/Vision & Employer-Paid Life/Employer-Paid Short-Term Disability Opportunity to develop professionally and advance within the company Training program: Dedicated to ensuring employees receive training they deserve Qualifications: Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required (within 6 months of hire) Must be able to pass background check and drug screen Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers PM Inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustment Examines all system parts looking for damage, excessive wear, loose bolts, broken welds, structural deficiencies, air leaks, oils leaks, stuck, frozen, or rusted parts, as well as safety devices on all types of trailers Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation Accurately fills out work order forms, ensuring all parts are included Follow safety protocols and company policies Skills and Abilities: Ability to read technical manuals and instructions Strong problem-solving skills and customer service-oriented Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment. Requirements

Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience
Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required (within 6 months of hire)
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
Ability to read technical manuals and instructions
Strong problem-solving skills and customer service-oriented
Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
