As an Inside Solar Energy Sales Consultant, you’ll guide homeowners through the process of switching to clean, renewable energy and entirely from our Springfield office. You’ll manage the full sales cycle, from initial consultation to closing, using technology, financing tools, and proven sales processes to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who is driven, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.

  • Conduct energy consultations with prospective customers using phone and virtual meeting tools
  • Educate customers on solar energy solutions, energy efficiency options, and financing programs
  • Build rapport quickly and guide customers through the decision-making process
  • Use CRM and sales software to track leads, appointments, and customer communications
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through referrals, company-generated leads, and self-generated opportunities
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance benchmarks
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team meetings
  • Maintain a professional presence and represent Sun Solar with integrity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence presenting solutions and closing sales
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow and succeed
  • Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and online platforms
  • Ability to work onsite at our Springfield, MO headquarters
  • Reliable smartphone access
  • Ability to sit for extended periods during the workday
  • Sales or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required; we provide paid training.
