As an Inside Service Representative supporting US Vision Care, you will be trusted to build and execute business plans to meet or exceed sales goals for assigned territory over the phone. This role drives territory sales performance, market share, and optimal resource utilization. In this role, it will be essential to develop effective professional business relationships with customers that support delivery of business results across a range of therapeutic areas, differentiating Alcon as a leader in their therapeutic area. Must be willing to relocate within 9-12 months and open to relocating to one of 5-7 states In this role, a typical day will include: Completing business plans and driving achievement of sales targets for the territory, customers, or therapeutic area Developing and applying an understanding of customer organizations and networks and of diverse influences that affect customer decisions (e.g. peer relationships) Implementing call plans for customers; calling on the right decision-maker to deliver the right message with the right frequency Adapting and optimizing approaches and communication styles during sales calls, responding appropriately to customer needs Making effective use of available technologies and channels to support sales calls Ensuring that Alcon products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more customers Deploying and using approved Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs Demonstrating expert knowledge of products to support sound clinical discussions Using detailed knowledge of competitor products’ features and benefits during calls to improve sales Allocating resources effectively (i.e. sampling, marketing material, etc.) Working effectively with other stakeholders and with resources in Sales and across other functions (e.g., Key Account Managers, Marketing, etc.) to achieve sales targets Providing stakeholders and other colleagues with insight and feedback gained from customer interactions. Working within Integrity and Compliance policies and all company policies and ensures those around him/her do the same Presenting a positive attitude and leadership skills to foster a hard-working culture Actively participating in all team meetings, conference calls, trainings, and sales meetings
