The position involves identifying customer needs through communication and proper inspection processes, and communicating identified needs and suggestions back to the customer in a professional manner. This person primarily works out of a location store.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years tire experience and sales experience
  • Retail TIA training
  • Valid Driver's License and Insurable Driving Record (required)
  • Regular attendance and punctuality is essential

Responsibilities

  • Quote prices (via computer) in response to customer requests
  • Maintain Company and store goals in relations to: CFNA applications, SIPING, Alignment units, and lube ticket averages
  • Complete online training as required by management
  • Answer the phone using the Commercial Tire standards
  • Inspect and diagnose service, tire, and automotive repairs problems, communicate necessary repairs and/or replacement of tires
  • Notify customer on special order follow-up
  • Identify ways to maximize new sales opportunities within the existing customer base and execute on that plan
  • Recommend additional preventative services to customers using Commercial Tire Standards
  • Monitor customer wait times to ensure customer satisfaction and meeting Commercial Tire standards
  • Maintain a clean and neat work area and appearance
  • Adhere to and support safe work practices and Commercial Tire's safety guidelines and standards
  • Assist with Administrative duties as needed
  • Assist with the inventory function; receiving, warehousing, delivery
  • Assist with picking up and delivering vehicles for customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed
  • Obtain monthly sales and GP goal (goal set by store manager)
  • Obtain monthly unit goals (goals set by store manager)
  • Obtain other monthly sales goals as set up by the store
  • Actively participate in training and development opportunities
  • Support company safety, professional and operational standards and adhere to all audit requirements
