About The Position

The Inside Sales Associate position at Adecco involves working closely with a dedicated Sales Engineer and suppliers to meet customer needs. This role is primarily focused on entering purchase orders, verifying pricing, ordering parts, and providing basic technical assistance to customers. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills to build lasting relationships with customers and vendors while ensuring accurate order processing and delivery.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficient in ERP software (TrulinX preferred) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Bill of Materials.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and non-technical assistance to customers and salespeople.
• Generates product quotations for customers and salespeople.
• Handles incoming calls & emails of technical nature from the customer, including taking orders, repair & services inquiries, and quotation requests.
• Creates lasting and successful relationships with customers, vendors, and salespeople.
• Reviews all incoming purchase orders to verify that all order requirements can be met.
• Negotiates prices with vendors.
• Maintains customer account information & project files.
• Works with the accounting department on credit applications, payments, and invoice questions.
• Provides appropriate documentation to customers, such as certificates of compliance and literature requests.
• Reviews orders for on-time delivery status and updates customers if delivery dates change; tracks and expedites shipments as necessary.
• Maintains an understanding of the marketplace, including industry changes and competitor updates.
• Obtains all information on RMAs to determine if parts can be sent back.
