About The Position

Universal Stainless is a specialty steel producer supplying technically advanced materials to the aerospace, automotive, energy, medical and electronics markets. We are looking for an Inside Sales representative to complete our team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, positive and an organized professional who is able to effectively create relationships within the specialty steel market.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong listening and sales skills
• Ability to achieve targets

Nice To Haves

• Business School or Associates Degree Preferred

Responsibilities

• Interaction with customers to submit offerings, enter orders and support order fulfillment
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
• Provide quotations - Price and Delivery Analysis
• Provide customer status reports as needed
• Perform all aspects of order entry
• Prepare customer invoices
• Perform contract purchase order review
• Develop knowledge of products, processing, and specifications
• Work together with outside sales personnel
• Interact with production and mill personnel
• Perform all customer service-related functions
• No cold calling required
