What is the job? Our Inside Sales/Quoting Specialists work with our Outside Sales team to ensure all aspects of a job are quoted and estimated correctly, so that jobs that are won can be handed off to Project Management for efficient and effective preparation and ordering. This role requires a balance of construction and electrical knowledge as well as a detail-oriented mindset, to ensure all aspects of a job are captured. A significant part of this role will be spent working on estimates in our CRM system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-3 years work experience, especially with Customer Service, Mechanical/Electrical, Construction, or Generator experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical requirements and plans, governmental regulations or project specifications and plans in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Excellent computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Review Specs and One Line Diagrams with Outside Sales in order to create a quote that is sent to the customer
  • Create quotes in QuickPack
  • Request quotes from vendors
  • Send quotes to the customer, refreshing expired quotes, as needed
  • complete all tasks in BOLT to get the project prepared for the Project Manager.
  • Participate in Strategy, Scrub, and handoff meetings with Outside Sales and Project Management to ensure projects are set up correctly
