Basic Job Functions: The Inside Sales Representative coordinates with the outside Sales Force, Production, Quality, Shipping, and Mill Management to provide customer service that exceeds our customer expectations. This includes processing customer orders, dispatching shipments, managing available inventory, maintaining pricing, approve billing and provide customer support as needed. Working to accomplish the overall goals and directives established by the Sales Manager and Management team is essential. We take care of our customers by creating focus on safety, quality, cost, service and productivity. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • A strong commitment to safety in all job aspects.
  • 2 years experience in Metal Building, Construction, or Construction related field.
  • Ability to interpret Architectural and Structural Drawings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to builders’ offices and job sites, possibly on short notice.
  • Willingness to relocate to an assigned sales territory.
  • Commitment to pursue path as a District Sales Manager.
  • Required to have and keep a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Highly motivated, extremely competitive, Can-Do-Attitude and passionately Find-A-Way to be successful.
