About The Position

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, Inc. is actively seeking qualified professionals for the position of Direct Sales Representative. This role involves working alongside technical experts in the commercial and industrial HVAC market, introducing our innovative brand to new clients in local facilities. The position offers the opportunity to visit various client facilities, including high-end clothing designers, testing labs for skincare, and food solution packaging facilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Sciences or related field required
  • Goal oriented with a strong desire to succeed
  • 2 or more years’ experience in the HVAC industry preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role preferred (Inside Sales/Account Executive/Product Management)
  • Experience with Marketing / Project Management / Sales / Customer Service
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal & communication skills
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Solid organizational and sales pipeline management skills
  • Strong understanding of the psychology of sales
  • Highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Mine information to help sales staff be successful
  • Create estimates and quote letters for sales staff as needed
  • Drive new sales for the company in a professional manner consistent with the company’s integrity and customer-care standards
  • Determine needs and provide solutions that solve the customer’s issues and generate a high rate of referral-based sales
  • Perform sales presentations, as outlined in company selling process, using approved company presentation materials and methods
  • Educate potential customers on value
  • Refine communication skills and improve customer satisfaction processes
  • Keep appointments with customers as scheduled
  • Participate in training as requested
  • Demonstrate learning-retention and field-level application of knowledge and skills attained from all trainings provided
  • Stay in contact with the office while in the field and work from the office when not in the field
  • Follow company procedures for generating referrals
  • Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
