Requirements

• Previous sales experience where influencing, persuading and/or negotiating skills were needed
• Experience in a role with direct customer interaction
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn tools like Microsoft Office, CRM, ERP and pricing systems
• Willingness to learn technical product information
• Strong time and project management skills
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with sales and limited support via phone and email
• Recognize customers with requests or product needs that require advanced support and escalate
• Generate new business growth through cross-selling and upselling
• Issue quotes in response to inbound requests
• Utilizes all pricing tools and methods including requesting quotes from vendors
• Check Inventory to coordinate lead times
• Follow up on pending quotes as defined by the sales process
• Works directly with outside sales team members to support territory and customers
• Route qualified leads to inside /outside sales team as appropriate
• Support department activities, goals and assigned metrics
• Assist teammates to meet customer demand
• Completes projects, assignments and daily tasks assigned by management
