About The Position

The Inside Sales Specialist will work closely with our partner agents to increase profitable sales through consultative sales techniques, including outbound phone calls, Zoom meetings, and training focused on increasing sales production for selected agents.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of personal lines experience, or combination of education and experience.
  • Licensure: Florida 20-44 license minimum requirement, with a preference towards Florida 2-20 license holders.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrated skills in the use of computer software applications, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills: Proven ability in customer service required.
  • Ability to communicate interpersonally with individuals and groups via telephone and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical/professional/consumer clients.
  • Ability to develop and maintain open and trusting working relationships with clients/agents in order to gather pertinent information.
  • Ability to balance timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly while maintaining proper confidentiality.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to innovate regarding methods and approaches to existing and future work processes.
  • Ability to be resourceful in information gathering and assess information to determine the best possible decision.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with various types of insurance policies preferred but not required.
  • Salesforce/CRM or Tableau experience is a plus but not required.
  • Agency experience is also a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Profitably grow segmented agents.
  • Conduct outbound phone and email campaigns to selected agents. This will be a high call volume environment, but the focus will be on the quality of the relationship and customer service.
  • Regularly communicate with agents and Territory Sales Managers (monthly, weekly, daily).
  • Meet monthly production goals as set by management.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings and events to promote product and organization.
  • Report essential product information, changes, or adjustments needed, including agent feedback, to the Product department.
  • Acquire market place intel and effectively communicate intel to the Sales team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
