About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing customer support activities that build long-term customer relationships and sustain the day-to-day growth of military and/or commercial business. This role involves receiving incoming sales calls, identifying new sales and program opportunities, and providing general product information. The representative will perform external and internal environmental analyses to identify and verify internal resources and capacity to provide the right solution at the right time and place for the right value. Additionally, the role includes documenting efforts and findings, forecasting potential results, and facilitating final contract reviews and order entries into the ERP system. Ongoing support to internal and external customers is a key aspect of this position, which requires daily phone, written, and face-to-face interaction with customers and employees within the Customer Services department and other departments.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of customer service/sales experience.
  • College degree required.
  • Marketing and promotion experience of aviation goods and services is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Proven team development and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • PC and ERP proficiency.
  • Ability to develop long-range goals and plans in line with the company's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer support activities to build long-term customer relationships.

  • Plan, coordinate, and develop contract review procedures.
  • Conduct prospect and project pursuit planning and forecasting.
  • Meet with supporting departments to ensure projections can be met.
  • Provide status reporting for accurate and timely decision-making.
  • Develop sales promotion and incentive programs as required.
  • Present proposed solutions with strategic scenarios.
  • Conduct quotations, presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
