About The Position

Young Innovations is a manufacturer and marketer of high-quality dental equipment with sales in excess of $100 million. With an outstanding reputation for quality, the company has a broad portfolio of market leading products across a variety of categories. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers through proactive outreach and relationship building. This role plays a crucial part in the sales cycle by generating leads, nurturing prospects, with the ultimate goal of growing their territory and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of effective sales strategies, have a proven track record of being able to understand market trends and be well versed in the product portfolio they are selling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with CRM applications and lead generation tools, preferably Hubspot.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence potential clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to overall sales goals.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth for the Young Specialties product portfolio in their assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed all monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Qualify leads through effective communication, understanding customer needs, and assessing fit for the company’s products and services.
  • Provide voice of customer and market feedback to product management and marketing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date information for follow-up actions.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals, customizing materials to meet the needs of potential clients.
  • Participate in sales training and continuous learning opportunities to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Identify and report on market insights and competitor activities to aid in strategy development.
  • Other duties as assigned.
