The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for lead qualification, appointment setting, and customer relationship management within the solar energy sector. This role involves contacting potential customers to assess their interest in solar energy solutions, scheduling appointments for sales consultants, and following up on older leads to renew interest. The representative will utilize a CRM system to manage leads and appointments, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of performance metrics.

  • Contact potential customers via phone, text, or email to assess their interest in solar energy solutions.
  • Gather relevant information to determine the lead's suitability for solar products and services.
  • Schedule appointments for solar sales consultants based on lead qualification and availability.
  • Utilize a CRM system to manage and track leads/appointments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Re-engage with older leads to identify and renew interest or change in circumstances.
  • Implement strategies to revitalize and convert old leads into appointments.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with potential customers.
  • Provide additional information and address inquiries to enhance the lead’s understanding of solar offerings.
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly appointment-setting targets.
  • Provide regular reporting/feedback on lead generation, appointment scheduling, and conversion rates.
  • 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
  • Criminal/civil background checks and motor vehicle records search will be required.
  • Relationship builder with a positive, 'Can-Do' attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Clear understanding of safe workplace practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in accordance with organizational policies and culture.
  • Effective and respectful communication with peers, supervisors, and external individuals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Products.
