The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for inbound and outbound calls and follow-up to ensure targeted profitable growth in support of the Commercial and Industrial lines of business. Master the Close: Expertly handle inbound inquiries, driving price and term negotiations to secure high-margin business on the spot. Territory Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of GFL’s diverse service lines and pricing structures to cross-sell and up-sell solutions that fit our customers' unique needs. Pipeline Management: Use our advanced CRM and prospecting databases to schedule, document, and track your activity—turning leads into long-term partnerships. Daily Performance: Execute high-impact "phone blocking" sessions to maintain peak activity levels and consistently crush your monthly growth quotas. Collaborative Winning: Work seamlessly with the outside sales team to "flip" complex opportunities, ensuring GFL never misses a chance to serve a customer.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ years of success in sales or high-stakes customer service. You know how to handle objections and stay focused on the goal.
  • Sales DNA: Natural ability to influence, negotiate, and close. You are a self-starter who thrives when the pressure is on.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable navigating CRM databases to manage your sales funnel.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to communicate professionally across various industries and levels of leadership, from small business owners to corporate managers.
  • Integrity & Grit: A strong work ethic rooted in trust and confidentiality, with a commitment to continuous improvement and streamlined work processes.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance-based goals.
  • Physical agility for a professional office environment, including manual dexterity for high-volume data entry and communication.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.
